Digital Work

From early 2000, I have been working with Adobe Photoshop to explore the integration of digital and natural media. These galleries include straight digital images printed on various substrates as well as digital image transfers.

DIGITAL WORK

My earliest digital pieces involved a lot of scanning of flora and layering those snippets with textures and drawings.

This series includes images that began as drawings or monoprints and found new expression in their digital incarnation.

These digital images were completed after a 2008 trip to China with my son Alex.

These images began as crayon drawings, were scanned into the computer, manipulated, printed onto transfer film and transferred to Stone Paper.

These digital images were created in response to my doctoral study of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Philosophical Investigations.
